“Others" is a proof of concept short film for a feature length project actively in development by the same title. The film recently kicked off its festival tour with a couple of early awards, Best in Show Award Winner at the Roswell Daily Record Film Festival 2024 and Best Sci-Fi Award at the Fantasy Scifi Film & Screenplay Festival 2024.

In a post-resource world, Strafers sell the dreams of the dead for consumption by an addicted public. One empathetic Strafer, Dezz, struggles to bolster her recently dried up dream supply.
Into this climate bursts Warren, a raucous frequent client who's looking to score. After listening to Dezz's situation, Warren suggests she attempt the previously unimaginable: Harvest his memory of a particularly transcendent trip the two recently shared while he still lives.
Dezz suddenly faces two terrifying truths: That the procedure could potentially mark a turning point in the still-evolving dream-harvesting industry and that it would also very likely kill or permanently damage her only friend.

The Visitor was conceived as a proof of concept for a feature film. The short film covers what would be the inciting incident of said feature. Writer/Director Nikolaus Aldrich wrote the short film to be an introduction to a larger story but still work as a standalone piece.
