  • What’s happening with covid-19? Are you still doing live screenings?

    • As we all are well aware by now, COVID-19 has put a halt on live events. We truly believe live screenings are an integral part of the film festival experience and (while we see some festivals moving to "online screenings") we are committed to screening our selected films in front of a LIVE audience, once it is safe to do so!

      Once we have officially resumed our live screenings, tickets will be listed on our Tickets page for all available events. If you do not see tickets listed for the festival you’re interested in, we may not have begun live screenings again, it might be too early to reserve tickets, or the festival dates may already have passed. Please check our Festival pages for individual festival dates.

  • Do you offer submission waivers or discounts?

    • Yes and no! We do not offer submission fee waivers, however our submission fees are heavily discounted (up to 50% off!) depending on how early you submit. Discounts are automatically added at checkout - no code needed. Additionally, if you submit to more than one festival you will automatically receive a 10% discount on your entire order if it totals over $100, and a 20% discount on your entire order if it totals over $200! Beyond that, we do not offer any additional discounts or waivers.

  • I’m NOT QUITE FINISHED WITH MY FILM. CAN I SUBMIT A ROUGH CUT?

    • You are welcome to submit a work in progress, however we will be considering your film based on the link you initially submit. You will not be able to update your submission during the review process, no matter how great the new cut is. If your film is accepted into one of our festivals, you will then have the opportunity to submit a final version for the actual screening. If you are submitting a rough cut, please note what you are missing in your submission (final sound mix, color, etc.)

  • MY SUBMISSION SHOULD BE discounted, but it’s charging me full price! What gives?

    • Discounts are applied at CHECKOUT. When your submissions are in your cart they will appear as full price, but once you go to check out, you will see all discounts applied and your order total will reflect the discounted prices.

  • How do I buy tickets TO A SCREENING?

    • Tickets can be purchased on our TICKET page. If you do not see tickets available for the festival you’re interested in, it might be too early to get tickets or the festival might be over already. You can check our current festival dates on our FESTIVALS page. All of our LA Film Festivals screenings take place at our theater in West Hollywood, CA. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early to get a good seat. Free parking is available on site and in the surrounding neighborhood. Public parking is available at the West Hollywood Gateway Shopping Center. Refreshments are available for purchase.

  • What are your SUBMISSION RULES AND festival terms and conditions?

    • Our submission rules and festival terms and conditions are listed at the bottom of the website (just scroll down!) as well as on the checkout page when you go to confirm your submission.

  • DO YOU ACCEPT SCREENPLAY SUBMISSIONS?

    • Unfortunately, we no longer have a screenplay category. You can view our submission categories on each festival page as well as our SUBMIT page. We wish you the best with your script!
